Going to sleep for me it’s one of the best parts of the day. I just love drinking a herbal tea, watching my favorite TV series and having my cat purring close to me and slowly feeling sleepier and sleepier, pure heaven. However, I must say that I don’t usually pay that mush attention of HOW I sleep and I could definitely do more to improve the actual quality of my sleep. Sometimes, I feel that I didn’t really relax, even if I had slept a full 8 hours or that I cannot fall asleep as smoothly as I would like to and usually I have troubled dreams and that I cannot enter in that deep state of relaxing sleep most of the times. After a small research I found out that I am not the only one who needs to improve her sleep. It seems that with our busy daily routines and everyday problems is getting harder and harder for us to grab a good night’s sleep free of troubled thoughts and actually feeling refreshed the day after. If you are planning to upgrade your sleep, as well, this article might give you some nice ideas and inspiration on how to do so :)
Find the perfect pillow for you.
Observe yourself. What position helps you sleep better and easier, is it on the side or maybe facing the ceiling? There are pillows that are made to provide you with comfort you need in any position you choose for your sleep. Throw away your generic pillow and opt for the perfect one for you. According to The National Sleep Foundation:
• Back sleepers need a thinner pillow that cradles their necks.
• Stomach sleepers need ultra thin pillows — or even no pillows at all.
• Side sleepers need a thicker pillow with a gusset.
